Traumas are med-surg appropriate and may be motor vehicle accident, gunshot wounds, stabbing, falls, etc. Other diagnosis may include alcohol withdrawal, COPD, sepsis, etc. Pt's may have Naso-gastric tube, chest tube, drains, ostomy/urostomy and/or indwelling urinary catheters.Ratio / Census: 1:5-6; 29 RoomsUnit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBARScrub Color: Navy BlueRTO: MAX 7 daysWeekends: Every other weekendFloating: Yes, may float to other units as neededCall Requirements: NoneHolidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
