We are seeking a seasoned Associate Attorney-General Liability to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to engage in challenging and diverse legal work within the general liability sector. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in civil litigation, toxic tort, complex product liability, general liability, and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of attorneys and legal professionals handling high-profile cases. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, toxic tort, complex product liability, general liability, and commercial litigation matters.
  2. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations, research, and analysis on various legal matters.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  4. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of general liability issues.
  5. Represent the organization in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  6. Collaborate with other legal team members to develop effective defense strategies.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing them with reliable and efficient legal services.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in:, toxic tort, complex product liability, general liability, commercial litigation, aviation and or transportation
  4. Proven track record of managing a diverse caseload.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to resolve complex legal issues.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  10. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
