We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our renowned Architecture Firm. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of our thriving team, managing commercial projects in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, you will:

  1. Lead the planning and implementation of project, facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  2. Define project tasks and resource requirements, develop full scale project plans and manage project budget.
  3. Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  4. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients, and negotiate contract agreements.
  5. Review, analyze and evaluate business procedures, implementing new strategies and procedures where necessary.
  6. Ensure project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and Construction standards, policies and guidelines.
  7. Use computer-assisted design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  8. Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
  9. Provide regular updates to clients and company management about project status.
  10. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  11. Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master's Degree will be considered an advantage.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in the construction industry, specifically in managing commercial projects.
  3. Architectural Registration or equivalent certification.
  4. Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, parametric design tools, and performance analysis software.
  5. Extensive knowledge of building codes, QA/QC processes, and sustainable design principles.
  6. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle pressure situations.
  8. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  10. Ability to work in a team environment and foster a positive work atmosphere.
