Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassembling equipment.
  4. Understanding and implementing machine automation, PLC, and hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
  5. Maintaining records of each inspection, repair, and maintenance task for future reference.
  6. Collaborating closely with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  7. Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve our processes and systems.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician role will have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  2. Proficient mechanical skills, with a deep understanding of the functionality and components of different types of machinery.
  3. Strong preventive maintenance and repairing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  4. Solid electrical skills, with the ability to safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  5. Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  6. Experience with PLC, machine automation, and hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members and departments.
  8. A commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
