Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Communications Designer with a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing success in the Mission Critical and Data Center industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex communication systems, building cable routing, and equipment layout. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, creativity, and an ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex communication systems in line with industry standards and company objectives.
• Utilize your expertise in building cable routing to ensure efficient and effective systems.
• Create detailed equipment layouts with a focus on optimization and performance.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver successful projects.
• Conduct thorough site surveys to determine appropriate equipment placement and cable routing.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including diagrams and specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure our systems remain competitive.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Current Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex communication systems.
• Extensive experience with building cable routing and equipment layout.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent technical skills, including proficiency with CAD software and other design tools.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field.
