Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in the manufacturing industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) Account Manager. This role is pivotal in managing and growing our business across various channels including grocery, convenience, and wholesale distribution. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

As a DSD Account Manager, you will:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
  3. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives.
  4. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Forecast and track key account metrics.
  6. Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  7. Assist in high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  8. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  9. Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DSD Account Manager or in a similar role.
  2. Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  3. Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  4. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  5. Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  6. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  8. Proven experience in the grocery channel, convenience channel, and wholesale distribution.
  9. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  10. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  11. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
  12. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  13. Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes.
  14. Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  15. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and sales analytics programs.
