Job Details:

We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney with anywhere from 0-3 years of experience to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. This is a permanent position, perfect for someone who is eager to apply their skills and knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with a passion for justice and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Annual billable hour requirement is 1950 hours

As a Civil Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Representing clients in all stages of civil litigation, from initial consultation to final resolution.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and briefs.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
4. Providing legal advice and recommendations to clients based on thorough analysis and interpretation of the law.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
6. Advocating for clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
7. Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion in sensitive matters.
8. Collaborating with legal staff and clients to ensure smooth case progression.
9. Keeping up-to-date with current laws and regulations related to civil litigation.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the state bar.
3. 0-3 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney, Municipal law is a plus
4. In-depth knowledge of civil laws and procedures.
5. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office suite.
