Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of power electronics systems, including MW class inverters, converters, and motor drives.
- Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, ensuring the highest quality of work is achieved.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate power electronics systems into overall product designs.
- Conduct detailed simulations and analyses of power electronics systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the testing and validation of power electronics systems, ensuring they meet all required specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the design, development, and testing stages.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics technology and incorporate this knowledge into designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
- Proven experience leading a team of engineers in the successful completion of projects.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics systems, including their design, development, and testing.
- Proficiency in using Altium or similar electronics design software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex power electronics issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics technology.
