We are one of the world's leading Solar Installers in numerous states! We are fast-growing and are hiring for an Electrical Foreman with their Journeyman Electrician license and 5+ years of experience in commercial and residential work. Solar industry knowledge is preferred but not required.

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Foreman with JE License to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take their career to the next level in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial, residential, and solar projects, ensuring all electrical work is up to code and meets safety standards. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all electrical projects, including commercial, residential, and solar installations.
2. Plan and schedule projects, estimate time and materials, supervise subordinates, maintain records, and files and prepare reports.
3. Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code and job specifications.
4. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor.
5. Review blueprints and electrical plans to ensure they are followed correctly.
6. Communicate with team members, project managers, and other construction team members.
7. Train and mentor electricians and apprentices, fostering a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment.
8. Evaluate and monitor the performance of team members, providing feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action when necessary.
9. Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a valid JE Electrical License.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in overseeing commercial, residential, and solar projects.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
5. Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local codes.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong safety record and a deep understanding of OSHA safety requirements for electrical work.
11. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 40 pounds.
12. Must have a valid driver's license.
