Position Overview:

As a Senior Tax and Accounting Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to our mission of providing comprehensive tax and accounting services to our clients. Your expertise in tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles will be instrumental in ensuring compliance, optimizing financial strategies, and delivering top-notch client service.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax and accounting matters.
  • Address client inquiries and provide prompt, accurate, and professional support.
  • Proactively recognize client needs and suggest value-added solutions to enhance their financial operations and tax strategies.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and effectively communicate updates to the team and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filing deadlines and reporting obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in tax planning, compliance, and accounting within a professional services firm or corporate tax department.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in tax return preparation and financial reporting.
  • Strong client service orientation and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
