Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 per year

We are currently seeking a seasoned QA Engineer who specializes in On-Prem Infrastructure for our dynamic technology team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and fast-paced work environment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in MLOps, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and integration testing. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
2. Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
3. Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
4. Create tools for diagnostics, debugging, and comparative analysis.
5. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
6. Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.
7. Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for all infrastructure code.
8. Collaborate with the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
9. Drive innovation by coming up with new and innovative ideas for improving and developing the quality assurance process.
10. Participate in the creation and enhancement of the overall test architecture and framework.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically with on-prem infrastructure.
3. Solid understanding and experience with MLOps, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and integration testing.
4. Familiarity with common software failures and faults and knowledge of best practices for testing.
5. Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
6. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
8. Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Exceptional attention to detail.
11. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
12. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
