Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer for their thriving manufacturing industry. This role is integral to the success of their operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met in all their products and processes.

Compensation Up To $110,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance the production process and maintain high-quality standards.
• Lead quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Analyze and interpret complex metallurgical data to improve our manufacturing processes.
• Manage supplier quality, including conducting supplier audits, addressing supplier quality issues, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Assist in the development of training materials for quality assurance and continuous improvement techniques.
• Monitor quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality systems.
• Strong metallurgical knowledge and experience.
• Proven experience in quality auditing and supplier quality management.
