Our client is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience, and a Jr-Level Software Engineer (0-2 years of experience) to support development and advancement of a large-scale distributed data aggregation platform primarily focused on collection of system performance data for algorithmic and machine-learning (ML) analysis.
Ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Engineering (or similar degree) and must have strong experience with:
- Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS), including ability to navigate a shell and knowledge of built-in, simple, and complex commands
- Bash / shell scripting
- Java, C++, and/or Python
- Git
Candidate must have some experience with:
- Distributed networked systems
- Docker Containers including creation, customization, interaction, and debugging
- Makefiles
Additional experience desired with:
- Machine learning/Natural Language Processing
- Microservice based architectures
- Rust
- Flutter / Dart
- Google Protobufs
- JSON
- Docker API
