We are seeking a Product Application Engineer to assist in providing technical support and quotes for our HVAC products. This role involves communicating with representatives via phone, email, and fax to answer technical questions and provide guidance on product applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales or support, particularly with semi-custom HVAC products, and a strong understanding of engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical inquiries and provide product recommendations and solutions to representatives and customers.
• Assist with preparing and delivering quotes for HVAC products.
• Offer technical support to representatives regarding product applications and features.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of technical details and quotes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products and their applications.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other tools for product layout and design when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Experience in technical inside sales or support, particularly with semi-custom HVAC products, is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
