Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for management of the pricing and contracting function for independently operated hospitals. Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Accounts, and with external functions, including Purchasing, GPO/IDN Contract Administration and Materials Management, to build and manage relationships that ensure successful execution of contracts. Working directly with these groups to apply business management principles and concepts to identify and recommend strategies that maximize the company's profit and minimize risk. Act as backup for Manager, Pricing and Contract Analysis as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Contract Management

•Manage contract requests ensuring all pertinent information is included prior to involving legal

team while working in coordination between sales team and legal team.

•Manage the creation, execution, and maintenance of all types of contracts/agreements including placements, leases, consumable commitments, evaluations, etc.

•Partner with legal team to ensure fully executed contracts/agreements are obtained and terms

are agreed to.

•Collaborate with BDI CADMIN team for customer management according to GPO contracts to ensure proper affiliation and compliance.

Pricing Management

•Manage any pricing discrepancies on customer invoices, in internal ACIST pricing systems, on product quotes and customer bids.

•Collaborates on pricing pages maintenance, updates, and distribution to field teams accordingly.

•Analyze quotes for potential compliance issues and approve as requested.

•Collaborate with Manager, National Accounts on training new and existing sales team on process and responsibilities.

Additional Responsibilities

•Sales representative product sample management. Engage with sales leadership to help implement the current trunk stock policy and strategy.

•Manage rebate audits. Collaborate with BDI CADMIN team to ensure rebate targets achieved by customers are processed according to the parameters in each contract.

•Regular contract auditing. Engage with national accounts team to determine next steps on contract term timelines and notifications.

•Manage and process all invoice pricing discrepancies.

•Work with BDI to manage and update GPO and IDN contract membership within systems.

•Manage pricing that goes to list price and collaborate with Manager, National Accounts on the strategic impact and next steps.

Distributor Pricing and Contract Management

•Ensure all distributor agreements are up to date and fully executed copies are onfile including any additional amendments.

•Ensure all distributors are compliant with their distributor agreements includingincentive programs.

•Assess monthly distributor sales tracings data to determine customer rebate eligibility.

Required Skills

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
