Job Summary

The Sr./Principal Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound to assist physicians in guidance of amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures per operational needs. Performs ultrasound to demonstrate anatomy in fetuses of pregnant women. Participates in improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance.

This position is for the San Francisco Mission Bay facility.Required QualificationsSenior:0-5 years of experience in a high-risk obstetric ultrasound service.Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.Principal:

At least 5 years of experience in a high-risk obstetric ultrasound service.Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.License/Certification

Require RDMS in OB/GYN.NT certification through FMF, NTQR, or equivalent required prior to or within 90 days of start date.BLS - Basic Life Support.About UCSF
