Part-Time Warehouse Material Handler

We are currently looking for a part-time Warehouse Material Handler to join our La Crosse team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking orders using an RF scanning gun in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer service expectations while ensuring safety at all times. This role also acts as a backup driver to deliver products to customers in the local branch area on a regular basis.
What you'll do
Assist walk-in customers with ordering and/or pick-up of orderPull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries using an RF scannerStage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets, etc.Process outgoing and inbound UPS, FedEx, and Speedee packages including packing and ensuring proper paperwork is includedLoad trucks for daily and special deliveriesMay use power equipment including, but not limited to forklift, hand tools, etc.Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate actionOperate a forklift or other warehouse machineryAssist customers and/or drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucksPerforms housekeeping duties and other duties as assignedRequirements
Experience working in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment preferred, but not requiredExcellent customer service skillsHigh attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracyAbility to follow direction and safe operating proceduresAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)Work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basisAbility to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machineryAbility to work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of timeA valid driver's license and a good driving record per company policy for backup drivingCurrently obtain or willing to obtain a DOT Med CardWilling to work overtime as neededWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
