Job Summary:
The Solutions Architect is a strategic member of our IT Department. They will deeply understand the solutions and capabilities of a large enterprise environment. This role is a consultative partner for our internal stakeholders, focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping solutions to business outcomes. The Solutions Architect is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help maximize productivity and communication. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement solutions. The role also requires expertise with Microsoft Power Platform and a deep understanding of business processes.This position must report to the SHI Austin, TX, or SHI Somerset, NJ, oHice location as determined by SHI management.About Us:Since 1989, SHI International Corp. has helped organizations change the world through technology. Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, informationsystems, or relevant work experience is required.10+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering.5+ years of experience with application development and modernization.5+ years of experience supporting the following in a large enterprise environment:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Required Skills:
Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integratedsystems using the Boomi Atmosphere platform.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translatethem into technical specifications.Develop and maintain a Boomi integration strategy, including adopting bestpractices and assessing new Boomi features and capabilities.Serve as the technical expert in Boomi technologies, providing guidance andmentorship to team members as we migrate to Boomi platform.Ensure compliance with security policies and practices in integration solutions.Manage the full lifecycle of integration development, including requirementsgathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.Improve existing integration processes, reducing complexity and optimizingperformance.Core Development Skills: C#, SQL, JSON, REST API, Power BI, Power Platform,GitHub (including Actions), Jenkins, Jira.Design and support multi-tier applications and cloud-based architectures.Expertise in diagramming tools (Visio/LucidChart).Ability to analyze requirements, recommend technical solutions and write technicalspecifications.Knowledge of securing RESTful APIs (OAuth 2.0, etc.).Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architectures,designs, and processes.Provide hands-on development support and conduct code reviews to ensureadherence to coding standards and best practices.Monitor and manage the health and usage of the Boomi environment, optimizingresources and scaling as necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration betweenvarious business systems.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with other Integration or middleware platforms (MS BizTalk/Azure, MuleSoft, Tibco, etc.).Cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum.Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.Ability to adapt to changing priorities.Unique Requirements:Travel as needed based on business needs and determined by SHI management.Additional Information:
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000.
