Millers Ale House is seeking a dynamic HRBP to join the Human Resources (People) Team to strategically lead and support key people initiatives that support our mission. This person will be the Human Resource Team subject matter expert assigned to a specific geographic location.As an HRBP, you will support day-to-day People Team objectives, analyze trends and metrics, resolve employee relations issues, support working relationships and productivity, and suggest HR strategies. The HRBP will work collaboratively with the Payroll, Training, and Talent Acquisition on various matters under the supervision of the Sr. Manager, Human Resources.The HRBP is based at our Restaurant Support Center in Orlando Florida. This individual provides advice to leaders and managers regarding leadership development, talent management, compensation, employee relations, change management, benefits, field recruiting, and diversity/inclusion strategy. The HRBP serves as a key contributor in facilitating a great place to work.The HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated store locations. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates People-related needs. The position formulates partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added services to the management team and team members at assigned locations.ComplianceMaintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Reports any new employment statutes to the HR Compliance Manager for discussion on policy creation and execution.Conduct audits of multiple reports and notices with time-sensitive deadlines and communicate directly with locations on requirements and deliverables.Audits employment practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local statutes.Reports violations of employment law compliance issues to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources, and provides recommendations on ensuring future compliance.Communicates compliance issues to Multi-Unit Leaders in Operations and validates continued adherence to initiatives moving forward.Employee RelationsProvide employee life cycle support, including talent acquisition, onboarding, workforce planning, compensation, training and development, health and safety, succession planning, employee relations, retention initiatives, and other HR support activities critical to the business.Effectively collaborates with other stakeholders when working on the development and implementation of strategies and programs to attract, develop, reward, and retain exceptional talent.Conducts effective, thorough, and objective employee relations investigations, manages, and resolves employment relations issues, or escalates employee relations issues to the HR Manager, as needed, for resolution.Support larger HR initiatives including performance appraisals, goal setting, compensation, and recognition programs.OtherEnsures effective communication strategies are in place within stores and builds two-way communication channels.Ability to travel up to 20%, if required (based on region or organizational needs)Partner and support Multi-Unit Leaders to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.The HRBP supports restaurant locations by effectively diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and engaging the appropriate resources to provide HR support to successfully achieve business goals.The HRBP will protect the organizations value by keeping information confidential.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Requirements and Qualifications:

3+ years of Human Resources Business Partnering experience.Expertise in coaching and mentoring leadersKnowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and experience in complianceStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsCertificate in Human Resources Management or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.Bachelors degree in human resources or equivalent professional experience required.Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills.Experience with onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and benefits.Knowledge of HRIS system (UltiPro) proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong attention to detail.Direct, concise communication skills (verbal and written).Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.Proven track record to establish credibility and relationships across all levels of an organization.
