Summary
America's top replacement window company, Window World, is looking to hire a determined and dependable Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities at our headquarters, in Baton Rouge, LA. In this position, you'll be receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and organizing stock in the warehouse; Thus, this position will require you to be able to lift 50-90lbs throughout the day and to operate a forklift.
The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. This is an ideal job for a motivated person who pays attention to detail and can keep their environment safe and in good working order. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsMaintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationComplete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepanciesOpen communication with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipmentPursue quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsExecuted maintenance activities when requiredFollow and understand of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policiesAssist with training of newly employed workersRequirements and Skills
Proven success working in a warehouse type rolePhysical strength and stamina to endure extreme heat, cold and other weather conditions when working outside, in and around the warehouseCapacity to lift heavy objects throughout the day (50-90lbs)Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systemsGood organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled in the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and other various warehouse equipmentAbility to work independently and safelyBenefits
