All open positions are Hybrid & On-site, and employees are expected to be on-site as per their approved schedule.The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community, and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population.MassBay Community College seeks an Associate Director of Marketing (ADM) to contribute to the strategic goals of the Marketing and Communications Department. Reporting to the Vice President for Marketing & Development, the ADM will drive the marketing strategy and serve as the primary point of contact for its execution. MassBay's marketing portfolio is designed to drive enrollment, raise awareness, and promote the programs and college experience that lead to student success. The ADM will develop strategic marketing goals and plans, monitor analytics to determine effectiveness, recommend budget changes and initiatives, and be the primary point of contact for marketing vendors. The ADM will serve as a senior member of the Marketing and Development team.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong marketing strategy and implementation experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within the team and across all MassBay departments.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the College, determining tactics and measurable outcomes;Create content where needed, to include short videos and written materials;Conduct necessary market research to uncover untapped prospective student populations and content strategies and to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for differentiation and methods of improvement;Uncover and lead strategies and initiatives to involve students to create student-centered content;Effectively collaborate with the College's Associate Director of Public Relations and the Marketing Content Strategist to enhance and integrate the College's social media platforms and mobile app within the overall College marketing strategy;Build collaborative relationships with faculty and staff, students, academic divisions, and other offices to identify, develop, and produce compelling marketing content;Effectively manage two professionals: the Graphic Designer and Marketing Project Manager;Actively participate in marketing department meetings, assuming responsibility for marketing tickets directly assigned or otherwise within purview;In collaboration with the Associate Director of Public Relations and Marketing Project Manager, develop and maintain a marketing and communications calendar to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of upcoming projects and initiatives;Strategize and craft compelling content narratives across various channels; understand and research the target audience and determine the most effective channels for dissemination, ensuring alignment with the College's branding and strategic goals and initiatives;Collaborate with academic departments and student organizations to ensure content relevance, and to promote campus events, activities, and achievements;Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, provide regular reports to the Vice President for Marketing & Development;Stay current on the latest marketing trends, explore new content formats, leverage emerging media platforms, and utilize new tools and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of the College's advertising and marketing;In support of Admissions and other departments coordinate, create, and distribute timely direct digital communications to both internal and external audiences, using channels appropriate to the audiences;Participate in the department's ticketing system to maintain contact with clients and ensure timely project completion;Other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Marketing and Development.Commitment to Equity:Support MassBay's commitment to the Equity Agenda; collaborating with faculty, staff, and students on the College's strategic initiatives dedicated to closing the equity gap related to student outcomes;Support MassBay's commitment to being anti-racist; embracing a community free of bias and inequality;Contribute to discussion and review of applicable College policies with a critical lens toward diversity, equity, and inclusion.This list is not to be considered all-inclusive. A supervisor may assign other duties as required to meet the needs and foster the mission of the College.All employees of MassBay are expected to work collegially and collaboratively within a community that values and celebrates diversity.Required Qualifications:Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of DEI and workforce diversity;Bachelor's Degree;Interest in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;3 or more years of relevant experience in marketing strategy and execution;Solid understanding of branding, integrated marketing communications, social media, public relations, and digital marketing;Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to communicate effectively across a wide variety of digital platforms;Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, demonstrated project management experience, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment;Ability to give and receive critical feedback;Ability to work from the MassBay Wellesley campus 2-3 days per week;Ability to work within a team structure, taking initiative, and seeing projects through to completion.Preferred Qualifications:Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity;Experience working in a diverse environment;Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students;Experience with videography, photography, design, and relevant creative software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cap Cut, etc.);Proven time and resources manager;Fast learner;Flexible and resilient, while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor;Systems thinker, able to see the big picture and interdependent details.Additional Information:Salary Range:
