Job Summary

The People Ops Partner (HR Generalist) position will support our field (retail and operations / manufacturing) teams in a variety of HR functions. Reporting to the People Ops Manager, this individual will ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and provide comprehensive support to the operations facility in Gainesville. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a dynamic workforce within an operations facility.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee files, utilizing HRIS systems effectively.Assist in conducting internal HR audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and queries. Address and resolve workplace issues, fostering a positive work environment.Support People Ops Managers in resolving minor employee issues and escalating more complex matters as needed.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining necessary documentation and reporting.Facilitate New Hire orientation in-person and virtual.Provide support for various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee wellness programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, and employee recognition programs.Assist in the planning and execution of HR events and activities.Qualifications

2-4 years of HR generalist experience within a manufacturing or production environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWorking knowledge of state and federal employment lawsMust meet the age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agenciesAble to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agenciesEducation

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field, or combination of education and experience.
