Position Overview

Pantheon Data has a need for an AWS Cloud Engineer - Hybrid Networking with experience specializing in hybrid networking and integrating on-prem environments with AWS GovCloud. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of integrating network security and monitoring tools into AWS GovCloud for federal clients.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement hybrid network architectures within AWS GovCloudIntegrate and configure network security and monitoring tools in AWSProvide expertise in federal network compliance and security standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutionsLead and mentor teams in the implementation of hybrid network solutionsImplement and adapt applications to meet stringent federal security and compliance standardsCollaborate closely with the DevOps team to integrate network configurations and tooling into cloud migration processesIdentify potential challenges and compatibility issues related to cloud migrationAssist in developing comprehensive migration strategies and plans for each applicationConduct unit and performance testing to ensure migrated applications function as intended within the AWS cloudPrioritize security and compliance measures throughout the migration processCommunicate technical progress and challenges clearly to stakeholdersDocument processes and best practices for reference during future cloud migrationsRequired Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in supporting cloud solutionsMinimum of 5 years of experience in hybrid networking with federal environmentExtensive knowledge of AWS networking services and best practicesProven track record of integrating network security and monitoring tools in AWSStrong understanding of federal compliance and security protocolsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Skills and Experience

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate) are a plus

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

US - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $127,000 - 159,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
