DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Database Administrator (DBA) to maintain the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s) on a classified program. Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data. DBA's will be expected to administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. Additional responsibilities include:Coordinate database architecture changes with Database Engineer (DBE)s.Direct the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization, developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure, and reloading data into a database.Direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables and views.Direct the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies and technologies.Required Skills and Experience
Experience evaluating and recommending available database management system (DBMS) products.Ability to perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and/or SYBASE Database and Application server administration.Ability to organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.Required Education
Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of experience in DBA related work in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Required Clearance
