Junior Buyer

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Junior Buyer to join a manufacturing client in Raleigh, NC. The Junior Buyer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities: Review MRP requirements and place Purchase Orders Develop and maintain vendor relationships Initiate sourcing actions as required to support Engineering and/or Manufacturing needs Research and evaluate new suppliers to expand the vendor base and optimize procurement strategies. Monitor inventory needs and plan for daily demand generated by forecast Requirements: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. Basic knowledge and understanding of ERP systems Proficient in MS Excel and Access applications, including data queries, analysis, and reporting General knowledge of planning and purchasing processes, including inventory management and supplier negotiations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
