This position is essential for providing technical expertise and oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial identification and development to execution and completion. The Senior Project Engineer ensures that projects adhere to key design components and deliverables, managing all aspects of execution, including construction and commissioning. In this role, you will also coordinate with clients and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and prepare pre-project approval documents, including project management plans, estimates, milestone schedules, and project kick-off materials.Monitor design progress to ensure adherence to project specifications and deliverables.Coordinate with the design team to receive detailed designs and manage bid package development, construction bidding, and field execution.Select contractors and determine contracting methods based on engineering methodologies.Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.Manage project scope and secure approvals for changes, maintaining alignment with engineering methodologies.Manage and control project budgets, providing cost forecasts and cash flow projections through development of project cost and status reports monthly or as requested by project stakeholders.Manage and maintain project milestone schedules with integrated detailed scheduling as agreed upon in the project charter.Monitor processes for compliance with quality and GMP requirements in accordance with FDA and OSHA regulations.Provide construction management and plant startup assistance as needed to ensure successful project execution.Evaluate, select, and issue contracts for construction firms through bidding and prequalification vetting processes.Provide self-directed project management of assigned projects from end to end with minimal supervision from management.Monitor work output from less senior engineers on the project team as assigned by management.Provide technical support to operations as needed.Perform other related duties and projects as required by management.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.Proficient in problem-solving techniques to address and resolve issues effectively.Demonstrated experience in completing major projects within a manufacturing environment.Ability to balance resource scheduling to support continuous improvement without compromising day-to-day operations.Expertise in a specialized engineering field (e.g., process, packaging, refrigeration) and construction management, with a solid understanding of various project contract types.GT’s Employee Experience (Benefits/Perks):401K with MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramDiscounts on the amazing GT’s product lineCorporate Discounts with our partners thru LifeMart (concert & sporting event tickets, cell phone service, gifts, restaurants, hotels, gyms, childcare, and more!)Others: on-site corporate gym, food trucks every weekday, and quarterly employee appreciation eventsWork Hours: Monday-Friday- Standard Business Hours, available weekendsWork Attire: Business CasualPay Range: $145,000 to $160,000GT's Living Foods, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and maintaining an inclusive culture.
