Job Summary:The Network Engineer Lead is responsible for overseeing daily technical activities, and project related task at the direction of the Network Operations Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.Lead and support the Network Operations Engineering manager in the successful accomplishment of the departments' daily tasks, goals, projects, and initiatives.Evaluate incoming technical requests and advise Management team members for planning and implementation of new projects technical features and business requirements.Organization and prioritization of project tasks, service tickets, and service escalations assigned to the network engineering team.Evaluate systems, management tools, procedures and or policies for improvement and participate in the strategic planning with IBC IT Management.Ensure Network Engineers perform daily maintenance routines and tasks per IBC policies, process and procedures.Provide regular status reporting to management on assignments and Engineering activities.Directly engage and complete technical assignments as needed.Mentor and guide personnel and provide feedback as necessary to the Network Operations and Engineering manager.Other Duties as requires by IBC management.Technical Skills

Technical proficiency of enterprise networking and integration concepts supporting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and Software Define Networking.Advanced knowledge of security concepts, investigation, troubleshooting, and firewall operations management.Understanding of Microsoft Windows Desktop/Server, Active Directory services.The ability to interpret network alerts, logging events, and performance metrics.The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, notify, recommend, and implement changes for resolution.Advanced knowledge of NAC architecture, software defined network platforms and services (Cisco ACI, DNA, VM Ware, Citrix, Nutanix, is preferred).Experience with identity management, access controls, and traffic enforcement, policy management, traffic analysis, packet trace inspection, investigation, and reporting.Soft Skills

Must be able to evaluate, organize, delegate, and track multiple tasks, projects, technical issues, and daily tasks.Strong written and oral communication with team members, management, and end users both technical and non-technical.The ability to provide technical support and guidance to team members, peers and management for day-to-day processes and operations.Flexibility to travel and work after hours for projects, maintenance, and support.Education/Knowledge/Experience

Associates degree or higher in a related field or 8+ years of support experience with networks, servers and desktop operating systems.Supervisory, lead, or documented enterprise implementation experience is preferred.Preferred certifications include, Cisco CCNA, CCNA Security, or CCNP
