About the role:Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join the Research Contracts Center of Excellence as a Contract Administrator II. This position will support clinical studies across a global organization through preparation, review and negotiation of a high volume of clinical study agreements and related agreements/documents by working with global internal business partners and external vendors to faciliate the contracting processYour responsibilities include:Using Boston Scientific-approved templates, prepare clinical study agreements and related agreements and documents (e.g., hospital use agreements, device purchase agreements) for Boston Scientific-sponsored studies performed at clinical sites located around the globeIndependently review revisions proposed by clinical sites and revise based upon Boston Scientific practices and proceduresRaise contract issues as appropriate and liaise between Legal, Risk Management, clinical teams and other internal stakeholders to resolve such issuesAbility to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced working environmentInterface with Boston Scientific Clinical, Contract Research Organizations and Global Clinical Operations contract support teamsServe as point of contact for group mailboxes, triage requests and coordinate contract reviews by appropriate team memberCoordinate Global Regulatory Legal team meeting schedule and record and maintain meeting minutesManage and maintain active clinical studies spreadsheetEnsure agreements and other related documents are executed properly and uploaded to the contract management systemOrganize and maintain contract management system and Microsoft Teams foldersIdentify opportunities for process improvement that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall contracting processWhat we're looking for:Required Quali?cations3+ years of professional experience with Bachelors Degree; ORHigh School Diploma or GED or associate degree with 5+ years in a related role, preferably in a medical device company.Basic understanding of clinical contracting terms and conditionsAble to read and understand contract terms, redline agreements and make decisions with a practical, business-minded approach to contract negotiationStrong computer skills (including Microsoft Office and Adobe software) with advanced skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Preferred Quali?cationsCapable of coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks/projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Capacity to interact professionally with internal stakeholders across the globe.Flexible and adaptable to shifting deadlines and priorities.Work independently with minimal oversight and in group settings.Communicate clearly via telecommunication and in-person.Ability and desire to operate independently, as well as a member of a cross-functional team, and to work with a positive attitude.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective organizational and administrative skills, including keen attention to detail.Prior experience engaging in internal operations projects (e.g., template development, policies), preferred.International contracting experience.Experience with iManage or other contract management systems.
