Job Overview:

A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, collaborate closely with a seasoned Partner on litigation strategies, and provide outstanding service to clients. Strong writing skills and experience with reviewing medical records are strongly preferred. The role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and ideally some experience in virtual work or schooling environments.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation claims, handling each case from initiation through resolution.Collaborate with an experienced Partner to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.Review and analyze medical records and legal documents to build and support case arguments.Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and accuracy.Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.Stay informed about current Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and industry trends.Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.Provide exceptional client service through timely updates and effective problem-solving.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred.Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and case management.Ability to interpret and analyze complex medical and legal documents.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.High level of professionalism and client-focused approach.Benefits Offered:Competitive Salary with Yearly BONUS!Company Paid PPO Health Insurance with Dental & Vision OptionsGenerous Paid Time Off, Floating Holiday, and Mental Health Day401K Retirement Plan with Employer MatchDiverse, Equal, and Inclusive Work EnvironmentOngoing Support and Professional Career DevelopmentCompany infoBCG Attorney Search801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900MiamiFloridaUnited States 33131Phone :
