How you’ll be impactful:

The VP, Analytics will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the company's consumer insights and analytics strategy. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing data-driven strategies to deepen customer understanding, optimize marketing initiatives, and drive overall business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of advanced analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership capabilities.

Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

What you’ll be doing:

You will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to and partnering closely with the CEO, Kristen Gall, to help drive the company’s strategy and growth.

Develop and execute a comprehensive consumer analytics strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.

Lead and manage the Analytics team providing guidance and support to team members.

Provide thought leadership and consultative support to senior executives and other departments.

Create compelling data visualizations and narratives to effectively communicate complex insights and trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Oversee the creation and management of dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Foster a strong partnership with the Data Engineering Team.

Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into business strategies and initiatives.

Evaluate and implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency.

Utilize advanced analytics and statistical methods to analyze consumer behavior, preferences, and trends.

Develop and implement customer segmentation strategies to optimize targeting and personalization efforts.

Identify key customer segments and opportunities for growth based on data analysis.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of consumer analytics.

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of consumer data.

Establish and enforce best practices for data governance and quality management.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistical analysis.

Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Innovative mindset with a focus on leveraging data for business growth.

Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Pay Transparency:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $250,000-$280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
