Junior Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation or regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in state franchise laws and/or manufacturing industries, superior writing and communication skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload efficiently.Duties:Represent clients in commercial litigation and regulatory compliance matters.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and briefs.Advise clients on legal issues and provide strategic recommendations.Manage case files, including preparing for hearings and trials.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and client matters.Stay current with changes in relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:2-5 years of commercial litigation or regulatory compliance experience in a highly regarded law firm.Knowledge of state franchise laws and/or manufacturing industries is beneficial.Admission to practice law in Texas.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Superior academic credentials.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Texas.Skills:Highly effective and detail-oriented writing and oral communication skills.Excellent research and analytical skills.Exceptional practice management abilities.Strong leadership qualities and business acumen.Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues.Keen attention to detail.
