Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities Job Opening
POSITION: Part-Time Quality Assurance/Provider Relations Assistant25-hour work week, Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
DUTIES (include but not limited to the following):
* Serve as initial point of contact for the Director of Quality Assurance/Provider Relations including greeting, assisting, and escorting visitors throughout the building.* Handle confidential written and oral communications for the Director of Quality Assurance/Provider Relations, including but not limited to personnel matters.* Provide administrative support to the Director of Quality Assurance/Provider Relations as assigned, which includes typing, filing, completion of reports, creation of Excel and other internal data bases, Outlook calendars and other documents. Create and maintain tracking documents for Medicaid provider recruitment and retention.* Schedule and coordinate initial and ongoing training needs of Medicaid waiver providers and/or those seeking certification.* Create and maintain various files/binders and organizational systems as needed for the Quality Assurance/Provider Relations Department operations.* Participate in the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) Program in accordance with ODODD rules, regulations and guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS (include but not limited to the following):
* Possess high school diploma. Associate degree preferred.* Ability to multi-task, and accurately follow instructions.* Attention to detail, and ability to organize high volumes of work and handle sensitive and confidential information.** Possess good telephone skills and effective interpersonal relationship skills.* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.* Possess computer skills with various word processing, database management/spreadsheet creation, and desktop publishing programs.* BCI background clearance.* Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.* Ability to engage others with understanding and empathy.
