The Williams Bay School District is seeking a reliable and skilled full-time
District Maintenance Worker
to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical work, and more.
Assist with snow removal, event setups, and furniture moving.
Maintain school grounds, report property damage, and address safety concerns.
Assist with HVAC maintenance and minor repairs.
Ensure the cleanliness of school premises and manage waste and recycling procedures.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Job-related experience or skills, ideally within an educational setting.
Ability to lift at least 65 lbs, climb ladders, and operate custodial equipment.
Knowledge of building systems and maintenance tasks.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and ethical conduct.
Physical Demands:
The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
