The Chief Information Officer is responsible for ownership and execution of the enterprise-wide IT systems and technology strategy. The role ensures that the IT and business strategies are integrated and act as a true business enabler to deliver all information and technology capabilities required to achieve these strategies. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO participates in and contributes to the overall success of the business and in helping develop the business strategy. The CIO will leverage information and technology to enable the company to develop a competitive advantage.

The CIO will lead, prioritize, and develop the organization’s Information Technology workstreams, positioning yourself as the true strategic digital partner of the organization, driving innovation and revenue-generating ideas throughout the business. The role is hybrid with an expectation to be in-office (Wood Dale, IL) or at “gemba” (e.g. visiting corporate sites globally) a minimum of 3 days/week.

In this role, a leader will:

Align the IT roadmap to the Videojet strategic initiatives; ensuring the prioritization, risk management, and leadership to deliver on the expected business results; as well as ensuring sustainment.

Provide global IT leadership by establishing the IT strategy, objectives, plans, and priorities that support the overall Videojet strategies.

Work closely with Videojet’s leadership and Corporate IT to ensure alignment of information technology with the business goals of the organization, as well as compliance with the Veralto IT standards.

Lead Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Systems Development.

Duties:

Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to influence the adoption of modern IT capabilities which enable new sources of value. Proactively manage business stakeholder expectations.

Lead the execution of corporate, segment, and Videojet IT-related initiatives.

Develop, own, and execute an Information Technology strategy and roadmap to support the Digital needs of Videojet’s global business.

Provide guidance to ensure cyber-security capabilities meet the needs of the Operating Company.

Define and execute IT plans to deploy new systems, tools and technology and ensure smooth adoption of these deployments.

Focus on continuous process improvements through the use of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES).

Continually partner with the business to understand technology investments that create return and competitive advantage and the required fundamental infrastructure to achieve those goals.

Develop and lead a high-performing team of 80+ IT professionals; foster a culture of engagement through coaching and mentoring.

Develop and deploy a governance and compliance model with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure IT meets the organization priorities in an agile manner.

Ensure stellar supplier management of all IT vendors and negotiate effective contracts for software, services, and other tools.

Develop annual operational expense budget and capital budgets.

Leverage digital transformation technologies such as Process Mining, RPA, AI, etc. to drive process improvements and reduce costs.

Maintain SOX and PCI compliance of systems by enhancing processes and supporting internal audit activities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Masters of Science or MBA is preferred or equivalent experience.

At least 10 years having overseen multiple functions within Information Technology including ERP, ERM, BI, CRM, Infrastructure and IT Services in a fast paced, global multi-site manufacturing or distribution setting.

Strong functional skill set and experience in IT and ability to successfully impact business outcomes.

Successful track record of delivering enterprise solutions which automate process and workflows.

Adept at developing strategy, driving and managing change.

Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

Experience with implementation of information technology M&A integrations in a large division/company.

Extensive experience with software development lifecycles and development methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage enterprise scale projects and initiatives.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally according to business needs, perhaps as much as 20-40% of time in some periods.

US ONLY:

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. The compensation range for this role is $300,000 - $330,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
