Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Engineering Prototyping & Fabrication Department (also known as the Bike Shop) helps Raytheon programs successfully demonstrate solutions to their engineering problems. Our engineers and technicians provide quick-turn innovation, design, fabrication, assembly, test, and demonstration services. Our vertically integrated team designs, fabricates, and tests mechanical, electrical, and software solutions.

In a fast paced highly collaborative work environment our projects range from proof of concept to flight hardware demonstration.What You Will DoCreate project estimates for internal and external customersLead projects from concept development through testMentor junior engineers and techniciansSupport programs across all Raytheon product linesOccasional travel required (~15%)Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Expertise designing in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO, SolidWorks, Catia and/or NXExperience with design, fabrication, and/or testingExperience with cost and/or schedule estimatesActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
