Multispindle Machine Operators: 2nd Shift
Tylok is now hiring qualified Multispindle Machine Operators for 2nd shift work on our multispindle machine tools. Located in the northeast corner of Euclid, OH, Tylok is now in its 69th year, still family-owned and operated.

Job duties include:Operate 6 and 8 spindle multispindle lathes, change tools, and perform sample part checks using common gages (calipers, micrometers, thread gages, depth micrometers, etc.)Perform a variety of activities with only a normal level of supervisionMonitor equipment for proper operationInspect first pieces and obtain approval from designated person before commencing productionInspect parts during run according to established procedures/functional specifications/aesthetic specifications/customer requirementsMake general decisions regarding quality, tolerances, and sequence of operationsIdentify and resolve routine (and some non-routine) issues through effective troubleshootingComplete secondary operations as required or instructedPerform daily maintenance checks on all equipment operatedExercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materialsDetect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisionCommunicate effectively with internal company partners (co-workers, internal customers, etc.) when performing assigned tasksKeep the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor's involvementMaintain timely and accurate records and reports, as requiredObserve good housekeeping and safety habitsSupport change and company/departmental goals through actions and behaviorPerform assignments in a timely and efficient manner while meeting customer quality expectations
We seek 3+ years of experience as an operator, preferably doing volume machining of precision threaded stainless steel and steel parts. Setup experience is a plus.
All work is to be performed onsite at our facility in Euclid, OH. The position requires drug and background screens.
