Test Case Development: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans to validate software systems, ensuring they meet specified requirements and perform reliably. Software Testing: Perform rigorous testing of software applications, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing. Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Confluence. DAQ System Validation: Validate and verify data acquisition systems, ensuring accurate data collection and processing. Work closely with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Lab Test Equipment: Utilize and manage lab test equipment to conduct software and hardware validation. Set up and configure test environments to simulate real-world scenarios. Test Computer Setup: Configure and maintain test computers, including installing necessary software, setting up test environments, and ensuring proper functionality for testing activities. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure cohesive and efficient testing processes. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ensure thorough documentation of test results and issues for traceability and future reference. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and tools. Propose and implement enhancements to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in product manufacturing environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for writing and automating test scripts. Experience with Jira or Confluence for defect tracking and documentation. DAQ Systems: Hands-on experience in validating and working with data acquisition systems. Lab Equipment: Familiarity with lab test equipment and experience setting up and configuring test environments. Test Case Development: Proven ability to develop and execute detailed test cases and plans. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
