HOW AN BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of business systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Responsible for preparing and/or maintaining systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods including user manuals and reference manuals.
Maintains a current internal documentation library.
Provides or coordinates special documentation services as required. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of documentation.
May act as project leader for large jobs.
Is responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation
May need to create standardized and update templates for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical-personnel and other available resources
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience
Required Skillset:
Ability to perform a variety of analytical tasks, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment to provide mission support
Skilled in Microsft Office products (Workd, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experienced in creating network diagrams
Provide technical write ups to document change management
Able to communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Clearance Level:

Required Certification(s):
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
