Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and prepares operational reports. Distributes management reports in accordance with departmental timelines, providing operational analyses and insights into the data.Analyzes reporting, workflow optimization and process improvements. Provides recommendations to leadership and implements approved changes.Implements Process Excellence tools to assess current processes and practices and proposes adjustments that improve efficiency of the process.Provide training, be a new system testing representative, and content development to support the company's field management, work order management system and supporting mobile platforms.Develops and delivers training to operations teams in systems processes, procedures, and applications.Collaborate with other Departments to ensure business processes are connected.Present to senior Leadership and field management taking complex information and solutions and communicating in concise and easy to understand findings and recommendations.Develops close working partnerships with operations management and internal teams including field teams, customer operations, meter operations, IT, HR, Engineering, Compliance, Safety and other internal departments.Represents the department on team projects.Communicates information and clearly and accurately identifies data problems and challenges. Responds to questions and concerns as needed.Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience, Education, Licenses, and Certifications)Bachelor's degree with a preferred concentration in Data Analytics, Operational Process Improvement / Excellence, or related field that shows proficiency in required duties.Minimum 5-10 years related data analytical and business performance experience.Certifications such as six-sigma. Project Management Professional, Data Analytics Professional, MS Power BIKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Develops working knowledge of the Company's field operations, work order management system and supporting mobile platforms.Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint applications. Strong working knowledge of ExcelAbility to learn and use related Company software including but not limited to ArcGIS, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, SAP, and other operational and financial platforms used in the course of normal Company operations..Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customersAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentA team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environmentWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
