Overview
The Business Development Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining data consistency, building data visualizations, and working with OVG's venue subject matter experts to analyze core KPIs of the venue and event management business.
This role will pay a salary of $80,000 to $100,000. plus bonus

ResponsibilitiesMeet routinely with subject matter experts from OVG's venues, across Ticketing, Food & Beverage, Transportation & Mobility and Finance business units to deliver against their business intelligence needsDesign, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and other self-service tools to provide actionable insights that enhance business decision makingEnsure accuracy of incoming data and resulting dashboardsWork with third-party data integration teams in ingest new data sources and incorporate into existing visualizationsPrepare financial analysis in Microsoft Excel, using data to uncover trends and new project opportunitiesCommunicates findings to department and business leaders via formal presentations and provides standard reporting on a periodic basisPartner with enterprise data architects to define data requirements of business intelligence visualizations and toolsChampion the utilization of business intelligence technology across functional roles throughout the organizationQualifications
2-3 years experience in Anlytics or statistics.Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplineAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint and/or KeynoteDetail oriented with strong analytical abilitiesSelf-starter with ability to solve ambiguous and open-ended business challengesSkilled at manipulating and managing databases, spreadsheets and queries, and generating KPIs into terms that can be understood by a roader audienceAbility to adapt to new tasks with little notice, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyProject experience in Statistics, Research, Project Management and Business Intelligence is a plusExperience with SQL, Python, Tableau and/or Power BI is a plus
