Mainframe Developer

Job Description:- Develop and maintain geospatial applications using COBOL, Mainframe, JCL, and AS400-LANSA.- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all geospatial applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial applications.- Implement best practices for geospatial data management and processing.- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.- Lead the integration of new geospatial technologies and tools into existing systems.- Oversee the migration of legacy geospatial applications to modern platforms.- Develop and maintain documentation for all geospatial applications and processes.- Train and mentor junior engineers on geospatial technologies and best practices.- Monitor and analyse system performance to identify areas for improvement.- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement geospatial strategies that align with business goals.
