Network Architect

Piper Companies is seeking a

Network Architect

to join an established Biotechnology company located in

Philadelphia, PA

for a long term contract opportunity. The

Network Architect

will design and implement secure, scalable network solutions.

Responsibilities of the Network Architect:

Design and implement network architectures, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.Serve as the subject matter expert on SonicWall firewalls and other security devices.Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and upgrade network components.Provide guidance and technical leadership in network-related projects.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security.Qualifications of the Network Architect:

5+ years of experience as a Network Architect or similar role.Expert knowledge of SonicWall firewalls and other firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, SonicWall CSSA) are highly preferred.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Compensation for the Network Architect:

Hourly Rate:

$100-110 per hour Depending on Experience
