The Maven Group's client seeks an experienced IT professional to serve as a
Regional Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) . This role will oversee secured IT operations at four primary locations and may extend support to two additional locations as required.The Regional ISSM will be responsible for maintaining the security posture of IT systems, implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and advising on all security-related matters. The role requires collaboration with ISSMs, ISSOs, and ISSEs to ensure system compliance with government regulations, such as NIST SP 800-53 and DAAPM.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain system security programs and policies.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies during system development.Conduct system security testing and evaluations.Manage the assessment and mitigation of security threats.Provide technical training and guidance to ISSOs.Ensure teams are adequately staffed and trained.Requirements:Active Top-Secret clearance.Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of experience, or a Master's with 10-13 years.DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM).Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and network infrastructure.Apply now to join a leading cybersecurity team!
