Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with application development teams and provide operational assistance they need for feature deliveryConfiguration and support of the enterprise SDLC toolset including work management, source control, and CI/CD toolsProvide Day-2 support for SDLC environment pipelinesTroubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolutionAssist in internal team documentation to streamline processes and broaden knowledgebaseProactively work with internal teams to streamline onboarding and usage of capabilitiesCommunicate status frequently to technology partners
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience for following functions (tools): Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and Unit Testing frameworks), Artifact Management (Artifactory) and Deployment (Ansible)2+ years hands-on experience in application development and/or operating environments including Windows Server, .NET, SQL ServerAbility to understand various/complex application architecture to support setting up Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous TestingStrong analysis and problem-solving abilityExcellent documentation skills, software design, build and test skillsAgile tools (Jira)
Desired Skills:
Experience with Database Build and Deployment using Datical and Release Orchestration using XLReleaseAgile work management using JIRA and Kanban/ScrumAbility to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical groupsAbility to establish and maintain working relationships
