Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the Business Transformation Office (BTO)! The BTO is an enterprise function that drives initiatives tied to F5s strategic priorities by providing program management, organizational change management, and business process optimization. This Senior Data Analyst should be a highly curious individual with hands-on experience with data visualization. They should be passionate about using analytics to influence decision-making, drive improvements with internal and external stakeholders, and build powerful stories of success for the programs that BTO leads.

This position will face a variety of work, from advising certain teams and programs on data-related decisions, to heavy data extraction and transformation that is fed into a robust report or dashboard to be consumed by end users. This position will engage at times with executive leadership and will need to bring a strategic mindset, boiling the most important information up at the right time and at the right cadence.

There is also a tremendous opportunity for this analyst to drive low-code and no-code automation solutions with a variety of stakeholder groups. As the world shifts towards AI, the automation of menial tasks is in high demand. However, accelerating that automation through low-code and no-code solutions is just as impactful and beneficial to teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements for reports and/or dashboards

Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to support BTO program rhythm of business (RoB) meetings and other executive reporting

Automate processes and other simple tasks through the use of low-code and/or no-code automation tools, like Power Automate, Power Apps, or UIPath

Support in the definition, tracking, and reporting of success metrics, which articulate whether a program has been successful at delivering against its objectives and outcomes

Deliver data-based insights to program leads and executive sponsors based on the outcomes of their program

Provide recommendations to the team on how to improve data capabilities and better automate processes, where applicable

Guide other members of the BTO team on best practices for managing data

Draft communications related to reporting/dashboard changes or changes to processes

Ensure F5 adheres to its data retention and other data privacy policies

Leverage AI capabilities, where appropriate, using approved AI tools for F5

Support in the administration of BI, such as Tableau and Power BI, and other technical tools, such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft Power Automate

Core Proficiencies:
