Job Overview:

Revolution is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our growth by providing actionable insights through data analysis. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and presenting complex data to help drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role involves collaboration with various departments to identify trends, optimize processes, and develop meaningful reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data tools, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-Time Hybrid and/or Remote in Chicago, IL (1300 North Branch Street)

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.Assist in the design and implementation of data collection systems and strategies to optimize data quality and efficiency.Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations based on data analysis.Support ad-hoc data requests and projects as needed.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and technology.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.3-5+ years Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL or Python, and data visualization tools like Looker or Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs such as excel, statistical analysis tools, and project management software.Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred experience with an ERP (ideally Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central) with knowledge of data structure and reporting capabilities of the system.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling techniques.Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details.Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)Work Schedule:

40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.This position requires occasional overtime to meet reporting deadlines, and 3 days in the office per week.
