Role: SAP TM Solution Architect
Location: Remote USA
Job Type: Contract
Requirement:• Deep expertise in S4/HANA embedded TM.• At least 8-10 of TM expertise with multiple global deployments.• Expertise with BOPF technical architecture, SAP LBN, GTT, P44 integration, Sidecar TM on HANA integrated with EWM 9.5 and ECC.• Integration with PC Miler, SMC3, E2 Open and Kinaxis.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement SAP TM solutions : Architect SAP Transportation Management solutions tailored to meet specific business needs and ensure optimal performance for logistics and transportation processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, and IT departments to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and effective SAP TM solutions.Integration with SAP and non-SAP systems : Lead the integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules (e.g., EWM, MM, SD) and external systems such as third-party logistics providers, carriers, and external transportation management systems.Lead SAP TM implementation projects : Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP TM implementation, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.Customize and configure SAP TM modules : Conduct configuration and customization of SAP TM functionalities, including order management, freight management, planning, carrier selection, and execution.Monitor and optimize transportation processes : Analyze and optimize end-to-end transportation processes to ensure efficient load planning, route optimization, carrier management, and cost reduction.Provide technical and functional expertise : Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on SAP TM capabilities, providing guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders on best practices and solution strategies.Develop documentation and training : Create comprehensive documentation for SAP TM processes, configurations, and technical design. Deliver end-user training and ensure proper knowledge transfer.Ensure compliance with industry regulations : Ensure that SAP TM solutions adhere to regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies related to transportation and logistics.Troubleshoot and resolve issues : Identify and resolve technical or functional issues in SAP TM during the implementation and ongoing support phases.Collaborate with SAP development teams : Work with ABAP and technical teams to design and deliver custom solutions, enhancements, and interfaces.Support continuous improvement initiatives : Stay updated on SAP TM advancements and continuously look for ways to enhance and optimize transportation processes using SAP TM.
