Position Details -
Title - Network Operations Analyst (Switch)
Location - Remote
Type - Long Term Contract
Why:The Technology Operations team got funding to deploy 1400 servers and will need 2 additional contractors to support on the network implementation side.Responsibilities:Virtually supporting the arista switches through their call systemsThe switches will show up / the vendor will plug them in and the Switch Engineer will help them certify the switches are showing up on the right V Lan and talk through any troubleshootingThe switches are self provisioned this is more of certifying their networks and resolving any issues during setupDeployment of UPS - these will get plugged in, call home in the portal and show up as live or not live - this determines if the networking is communicating properlyRequired Skills & Must Haves
Top 3 skills: Following and updating documentation, Basic network diagnosis skills, Experience with Service Now and Jiramid-level switch engineer (4-5 years)Experience and knowledge of Arista SwitchesJob Requirement
