JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a
Sr. Developer
to join our team and help modernize our applications for North America. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework. You will be responsible for designing and implementing web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core with MVC and Razor Pages, developing RESTful services with Web API, and managing databases with SQL Server. Additionally, you will build cross-platform mobile and desktop applications using .NET MAUI and collaborate with the team to create scalable and maintainable solutions. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a hybrid working schedule and up to 20% travel.
The ideal candidate for this role has a proven track record of success for deploying effective leadership and communication skills across business and IT department landscapes and can drive results within a fast-paced, agile environment. This position includes up to 20% domestic or global travel and candidate must reside within the Greater Chicago Area. Work schedule arrangement is hybrid.
JOB DUTIES:
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
Modernize a legacy enterprise application to align with current industry standards
Strategic planning and agile development
Engage in collaboration with key business stakeholders
Design and implement web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core with MVC and Razor Pages.
Design, develop and manage databases using SQL Server.
Develop RESTful services using Web API.
Maintaining Application Design documentation.
Build cross-platform mobile and desktop applications using .NET MAUI.
Collaborate with the team to design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
Hiring Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
C#/.NET/.NET Core Frameworks
: Minimum 5 years of experience in developing enterprise applications.
ASP.NET Core with MVC and/or Razor Pages
: Proven experience in building web applications.
Web API
: Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs.
SQL Server
: Proficiency in database design, development, and optimization.
.NET MAUI
: Experience in developing cross-platform applications.
Distributed Cloud Systems
: Experience in deploying and managing microservices.
DevOps
: Experience with CI/CD processes and automation.
Azure Services
: Minimum 3 years of experience:
Service Bus
Application Insights
Cache for Redis
Cosmos DB
Azure SQL Server
Function Apps
Preferred, but not required:
Azure Service Fabric: Experience in deploying and managing microservices with Azure Service Fabric.
WCF: Experience in developing and consuming WCF services (legacy technology).

DevExpress Libraries: Experience in enhancing user interfaces with DevExpress components.
Blazor: Experience in developing interactive web applications.
gRPC: Experience in implementing high-performance RPC services.
C++: Experience in system-level programming and performance-critical applications.
VB6: Experience in maintaining legacy applications developed in Visual Basic 6.
Crystal Reports: Experience in designing and generating business reports (legacy technology).
Certification: Microsoft Developer, Azure or SQL db.
