Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. The AWS Cloud Administrator will collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless operations, scalability, and compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer AWS cloud environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and other AWS services.Deploy, configure, and monitor cloud infrastructure resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.Implement and manage security policies, access controls, and encryption standards to protect cloud environments.Monitor cloud systems and services to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.Automate routine cloud operations using tools such as AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, and other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.Perform routine backup and recovery procedures for cloud resources, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.Collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and cloud-based applications.Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud resources to manage expenses effectively.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and storage.Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices, providing recommendations for system improvements.Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and industry regulations.Assist in designing and implementing new cloud-based solutions and services as required.Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience:

3+ years of experience in cloud administration, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS environments.Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, and others.Experience with automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

Skills:

Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems in a cloud environment.Strong knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, security groups, firewalls).Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or ProfessionalAWS Certified SysOps AdministratorAWS Certified Developer
